  What Is Oxeltra Oxeltra  is a prolonged-release tablet containing oxycodone hydrochloride, primarily used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain in patients with cancer and post-operative pain. It is classified as a strong opioid analgesic and is indicated for severe pain requiring opioid treatment.             Oxeltra Composition and Formulation Each Oxeltra  tablet contains 72mg of oxycodone as oxycodone hydrochloride, along with excipients such as lactose monohydrate (63.20mg) and others that aid in the formulation of the tablet. The tablets are green, round, biconvex, and marked “OX 80” on one side                           Oxeltra Dosage and Administration Starting Dose: For opioid-naïve patients or those with uncontrolled severe pain, the usual starting dose is 10 mg every 12 hours.
